We talked to our daughter earlier this week. She's almost done with her first year as an attorney, and we really enjoy hearing about her cases. She's about to start her second trial. She has an uncooperative witness who might fail to show up for his court date, and if that happens, she'll request a bench warrant from the judge. \o/

For reasons of bizarreness, I am rooting for that to happen! (As is HalfshellHusband). It occurred to me that I might be playing a game of Baby Lawyer Bingo in my head. So, I created an actual bingo card for it (as you do):

My friend had a witness just a few weeks ago who turned up drunk.

She’s consulting with a colleague about what they’re going to do:

Colleague: Could they just be nervous? are you SURE they’re drunk?
Witness: *falls over*
Friend:… yeah.

DD is 10 now, in the UK that means high school next year 😱 Where has that time gone?!

I went to Florence, if you remember I said I was going for a long weekend, and very much thought of you there. Saw the David which was incredible, and the Birth of Venus made me smile particularly as it reminded me of you ❤️

I know very little about art, truthfully, but I’d like to know much more. My utopian retirement would be doing degree after degree after degree, and one would be in History of Art 🤣❤️. A shame eduction is so expensive!

Hahahaha! The PC update crash is really fresh, though I was spared.

We have much less risk because we develop on Linux, but I'll add some other process borking! Thanks. :D
