The names of the characters were pretty much driven by the prompt, but they also helped launch the stories that came from them. Queenie, Teo, and Umesh, all inspired their stories, while some of the other characters' stories arrived before their names did!
I've never played the subway game because I haven't lived in a place with good public transportation since leaving Portland over 40 years ago. But I've always thought it sounded fun. :D
