Thinking more on this entry, there's also a little bit of underlying horror that I really enjoyed. What if one day someone came up behind you and gave you a part on the back and "you" just blinked out of existence? It's really a terrifying thought, even though I suppose "you" wouldn't know the difference.
But this whole thing works because it's quintessential sci-fi, which really seeks to answer the question of, "What does it really mean to be human?" I really enjoy this piece more the more I let it sink in.
