Chaos and destruction totally make sense to me for an ogre, and I think a setting like a popular diner might provide enough stimulation and challenge to keep that destructive impulse at bay. "Balanced chaos", where he's always on his toes staying on top of everything and is never bored. Plus, doing something he loves and does well, unlike previous professions where the parts he loved were not the whole of the job, and he was sometimes spectacularly UNskilled at other parts. :O
