Take "Hey, let me tell you about MY problems" and multiply them by an ever-expanding group of problem-sufferers, and then make them able to come into your house (or anywhere else, if they're rude enough) and just never leave you in peace!
There's no call-monitoring or leaving town with ghosts, if they choose not to cooperate. :O
