I'm so glad that combination of feelings came through for you!

This is such a tragic situation, with no one knowing who to be or how to behave. With so much resting on the shoulders of an older sibling (a child herself) and an overnight father, I can see things getting off to a rocky start but slowly getting better as they all figure out how to make their new family arrangement work.

Where there is love, there is always hope. :)
